Performance kits for the Bombardier® DS650
and BMW® F650

Both the Bombardier® DS650 & BMW® Funduro share the same basic ROTAX® 4 Stroke Engine and are combined on this one page. However while the engines may look the same each machine requires a different level of tuning and parts for the type of riding involved; from recreational to all out racing. Performance kits are offered in 3 stages from "mild to wild" with the Stage 3 kit offering the most power. (up to a 48% or 20HP increase) Other items that are available included suspension upgrades, improved final drive gearing, Controls and even a Nitrous Express nitrous oxide system. Overview of Engine Performance Kits
Note: All parts are availavble seperately

STAGE ONE KIT- Essentially a "bolt-on" performance package without any internal engine modifications, giving a 68% boost in torque at 3700 rpm and 32% more horsepower at 7700 rpm, plus the rev limiter is eliminated giving another 1000 rpm to the rev range. Kit includes the following:

  • - Upgraded Carburetor, twist throttle, throttle cable, grips, machined and ported intake manifold and K&N  air filter. Stock replacement or race filter for use without air box. Thumb thottle cable also available
  • - A new ignition box is supplied to eliminate the rev limiter.
  •  
  • - Complete aluminum ceramic coated racing exhaust with reverse cone megaphone and rebuildable glass pack muffler.

STAGE TWO KIT - Kit Includes stage 1 parts, plus the following parts for additional performance:

  • - High compression forged piston kit w/ gaskets & guide seals  
  •  
  • - Performance racing cams
  • - Dual racing valve springs with titanium retainers.

STAGE THREE KIT - Includes all of the parts from stages one and two, plus extensive modification to customers cylinder head, plus the following parts for additional performance:

  • - Install larger valve seats and oversize valves
  • - Enlarged and matched ports
  • - Enlarged and matched intake manifold
